Steve Jobs is a visionary, the founder of Apple and Pixar. He is one of the most successful and dedicated people in the history of technology. My main motive for writing a short biography as a tribute was because of my dad.  I always heard him say, “I just wish to be 1% of Steve Jobs.” He is one of my dad’s most significant role models. Something that inspired me even more, to write about Steve Jobs is Apple’s iPhone 12 Purple edition, which came out as a tribute to Steve Jobs from apple as his favorite color is purple. So finally, I put my mind to it and prepared a short biography.

Steve Job’s short biography: He was born on February 24th, 1955. His Biological parent’s names were Abdelfattah John Jandali and Joanne Carole Schieble. Unfortunately, his parents were unmarried at the time, so they had no choice but to give him up for adoption. He was the adopted son of Paul Reinhold and Clara Jobs. He never really had a lot of interest in school and was often a troublemaker, but one of his teachers saw the potential in him and turned him around; Steve Jobs himself said so. Steve was so exceptional that he even skipped a few grades and graduated high school at a young age. Steve graduated in 1972. After that, he applied for Reed College but dropped out in 6 months to pursue creative classes.

Steve’s first profession was that of a technician at Atari Inc in Los Gatos, California. He worked there till 1973. In mid-1974, Steve went to India to meet Neem Karoli Baba for spiritual enlightenment. After that, Steve along with Wozniak started apple in 1976. The company initially aimed at selling circuit boards, but Wozniak invented the Apple I computer in the same year. Everything was going smoothly for apple until a power struggle arose between Jhon Sculley and Steve Jobs for the ownership of the Macintosh group. In the spring of 1985, Apple’s board sided with the CEO, removing Steve from the command of Macintosh. Hence, Steve resigned from his own company. Later in the same year, Steve Jobs founded NeXT Inc. The company became famous because of its technical strengths and object-oriented software development system. In 1986, Steve bought the graphics group from Lucasfilm’s computer graphics division. Toy Story, everyone’s favorite classic, was released after the acquirement.

When Apple acquired NeXT Inc in 1996, Steve returned to his co-founded company as a de facto chief. In 1998, Apple iMac was introduced to the market. It was a direct result of Steve returning to the company. In 2000, Steve became a permanent CEO of Apple, getting the title iCEO. In 2001, the company stepped into the world of music with the introduction of the iPod, one of apple’s most sold product in those days. Also introduced iTunes digital music software and store with the iPod.

In 2005 with Disney’s purchase of Pixar, Steve became the largest shareholder of the Walt Disney company with approximately 7% of the company’s stock. He also served as one of the board members of the company. In 2007, Steve  started the cellular phone business with the launch of the iPhone. In 2008, iPhone 3G was released with three chief features. In 2010, Steve launched iPhone 4 and, shortly after in 2011, the iPhone 4S. In the same year, Steve resigned as the CEO of apple but continued to serve as a chairman for the company’s board. He also was inducted into the California Hall of Fame in 2007. In the same year, Steve was named the most influential person in business by Fortune magazine and many more recognizable awards. In 2003, Steve was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and he passed away on October 5th, 2011, in Palo Alto, California.

That is the short biography of Steve Jobs. He was a very great and inspiring man and will always hold a place in this world as we all say Legends Never Truly Die.
